Mars Cowling is in my opinion the greatest, most underrated bassist in the history of rock and roll. Mars played with Pat Travers for most of his career. The 1979 live LP entitled "Go For What You Know-Pat Travers Live" is to me the best recorded example of Mars' playing.

He has influenced everyone from Les Claypool, to Rexx from Pantera. You have to see him play live to fully appreciate what he is all about. Check him out, you won't be disappointed!
